VISION
IWP envisions a work environment where everyone can contribute their talents, abilities, skills, creativity, intelligence, and potentialities as they are.
MISSION
IWP inspires and engages organizations to have workplace non-discrimination policies that explicitly include sexual orientation and gender identity/expression (SOGIE).
GOALS
For the first year, IWP will have the following focus:
1. Developing a list (The Inclusive Workplace Philippines List or IWP List) of multi-national corporations (MNCs) who have operations in the Philippines and who have non-discrimination policies that includes SOGIE;
2. Monitoring the enforcement of these MNCs non-discrimination policies in the Philippines; and
3. Establishing connections with the Global Diversity Managers (or their equivalent) of those MNCs.
IWP'S CAMPAIGN STRATEGY
The IWP's list of SOGIE inclusive MNCs will include a short profile of each company and their actual policies.
Each profile will also include information on whether the policy is actually being enforced in the Philippines.
If we receive reports that the MNC's policies are not being enforced and/or if the MNC's branch in the Philippines has policies and practices that are not in line with their SOGIE non-discrimination policy (e.g no-cross dressing policy), IWP will alert and request for action from the Global Diversity Manager (or their equivalent) of that MNC.
